Happy Holidays Harborhead residents, I hope this message finds you and your families doing well/healthy and enjoying the holiday season. The heating season is now upon us and the nighttime temps have recently dipped below freezing. When you are not at your shore house on a regular basis it's very important to be able to rely on your furnace to keep your unit from freezing. Part of a yearly maintenance program is having your furnace filters changed at least twice a year, once before heating season and then again before cooling season. This assures you that your furnace is operating efficiently and will be there for you when you need it not to mention the health benefits of breathing cleaner air. Also, please remember to check all windows, doors and skylights to make sure they are all latched securely. Please check all toilets to make sure they are not running before you leave.
